Ernst & Young has recently identified four African countries – Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa – as rapid-growth markets.

We expect more emerging market countries such as Turkey to join the bandwagon of investments into Sub-Saharan Africa.

Sub-Saharan African countries will be affected by the current downturn, although they are still likely to outperform more developed markets.
