Description
Seeking a Geology Director/Manager to be in charge of mining operations, mine geology operations, exploration and the technical department in West Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in managing staff
- Management of geology department
- Management of exploration programs
- Updating bloc model and mining plans
- Management of Mining Engineering departments and technicians
- Monthly budget reporting
- Monitoring and training of staff
Requirements:
- BSc Geology or similar
- Postgraduate studies in Geology
- Must have mining experience
- Must have operational experience
- Should be JORC compliant
- Should belong to a Professional Controlling
- French speaking is essential
