Condition Monitoring Supervisor (Fixed & Mobile Plant) - East Africa
Are you an experienced Condition Monitoring Specialist for both fixed and mobile plant in the mining industry? This could be the opportunity for you!
Mining giant with operations in East Africa is in need of a Condition Monitoring Supervisor, to ensure equipment and plant reliability and availability.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the key functions for this role will be:
- Ensuring mobile and fixed plant availability through execution of the planned maintenance system.
- Carry out duties in accordance with local and international laws and regulations.
- Ensure profitable maintenance of equipment and machinery.
- Ensure work is carried in a safe and thorough manner.
- Oversee health and safety aspects in area of responsibility.
- Implement operating systems.
- Supervise, coach and mentor subordinates.
- Set planning targets to support the production process.
- Management of engineering assets.
Requirements:
- Relevant Trade Qualification.
- Supervisory certificate or similar training.
- 8 years previous experience in the mining industry, of which at least 4 years must in a condition monitoring role.
- Project management experience advantageous.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to foster a team oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience working in multi-cultural environments in Africa essential.
