Description
Outdoor marketing company requires a Zambian citizen.
Qualifications & Experience
• B Comm. Graduate or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Senior Accountant position, managing staff
• Must be fully computer literate, with advanced Excel experience
Roles and Responsibilities
• Support to the business planning processes for the business units.
• Preparation of annual budgets and revised forecasts for the business units.
• Preparation for monthly financial and debtors review meetings and coordination of follow-up on action points arising.
• Supervision of staff in the above departments.
• Maintain general ledger, including preparing journal entries, coding invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly, setting up new accounts.
• Year end and Month-end reporting.
• Assist external auditors at year-end including preparation of schedules, invoices, and explaining supporting materials and procedures.
• Handling of all appropriate tax forms and reports with government agencies e.g. VAT, RSC and all statutory payments
• Update records for fixed assets and all other financial documents as necessary.
• Implement any necessary controls.
• Prepare monthly financial statements to include preparing monthly balance sheet, income statement, report on changes in financial position/budget variances.
• Manage the collection of debtors and creditors
• Preparation of monthly staff payroll
• Manage all procurement and stock control systems (ensure efficiencies)
• Manage payments and SLA’s for external contractors
