Audit Manager

Big4 firm in Malawi seeks qualified Chartered Accountants who are eager to grow within the firm. Must be willing to commit to the firm, potential for great opportunities for career growth. All industry audit managers welcome.

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Qualification Level: B Commerce HNS
- Must have experience of working in one of the Big6
- Experience required: External Audit
- At least three years of experience
- ACCA, ACA, CA, SAICA (any internationally recognized audit qualification)
- Work experience in the field External Audit

- Must have auditing experience

Responsibilities/Output:

- Facilitation of risk assessments
- Preparation of risk based strategic plans and operational audit
- Preparation of memoranda of scope based on the audit plan
- Review of fieldwork
- In direct connection with customers
- Monitoring the use and development of staff
- Ensure compliance with firm policies for risk management
- Deliver value-added services for customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Develop relationships with staff / role-players in key customer accounts subject

Responsibilities:

- Ability to engage professionally with clients at all levels
- Fundamental understanding of the process of auditing processes, and business controls
- Knowledge and experience with appropriate computer software, including MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project and Lotus Notes)
