Fruit Juice Distribution Opportunities

Pacmar’s house brands include the Wilde fruit juice range and Zing fruit nectars.

Distribution opportunities are available for the following products:

Wilde pure pressed fruit juice
Wilde is a premium fruit juice which is pressed and squeezed. It is not made from concentrate like most juices available and it contains no added sugar or preservatives. This is the purest form of long life fruit juice. Wilde Pressed Fruit Juice is available in Elopak 1L and Tetrapak 200ml.

Wilde 100% fruit juice
A fruit juice that contains no additives and is treated against deterioration by permitted methods. The juice can be natural as extracted from the fruit or can be reconstituted from concentrate to a natural single strength. A 100% fruit juice can also be a blend of different juices where each individual fruit juice complies with the above. Wilde 100% fruit juice is available in Tetrapak 1L and 4 variants in Elopak 2L. The 200ml range will be launched soon.

Zing fruit nectars
A nectar means a fruit drink obtained by mixing fruit juice, water and permitted sweeteners, and can be preserved in a permitted manner. The fruit content for the different juices varies from 12.5 – 70% as regulated by law. Zing fruit juice nectar is available in Tetrapak 1L, Elopak 2L and Tetrapak 200ml.

Situated conveniently close to Cape Town harbour, Pacmar brands get sent across the globe. With agents in various countries, Pacmar is continuously increasing the product footprint and assisting agents to excel.

Liza van Jaarsveld, export manager at Pacmar, says the company currently has a strong focus on expanding its brands in the rest of the continent. “Africa is growing steadily and we believe there is a lot of future growth and business opportunities in Africa,” she explains.

Pacmar’s brands are currently being distributed in the following African countries: Senegal, Ghana, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Congo, Angola, Zambia, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, DRC, Mozambique and Mauritius.

Contract Packaging

Pacmar also offers a comprehensive contract packaging service for companies across the African continent.

“We currently do contract packaging for some of the biggest brands in South Africa, these include Spar, Woolworths, Fruit and Veg City and Minute Maid. We can also provide complete solutions for companies in the rest of Africa, from product development to the sourcing of raw materials to the final packaging. Everything can be done to the client’s own specifications,” says van Jaarsveld.

Clients can choose from a variety of juice categories and flavours. A range of packaging solutions such as Elopak (8 month shelf life), Tetra Pak (12 month shelf life) and ‘Bag in a box’ are also available.
